A Note from Stephanie Chase:
As is the case for so many musicians, my concert performances have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.
As live music slowly returns, however, I offer a variety of repertoire for solo violin and strings, including my own arrangements of virtuoso works by Pablo de Sarasate, that are ideal for a socially distanced concert. For more information, take the "Repertoire" sublink under the "Home" button.
I am also using this period to research and write a book about the celebrated violinmaker Antonio Stradivarius, with exciting new insights into his use of harmonic proportions in designing his instruments. The anticipated release date for the book is Summer of 2021.
I look forward to sharing these insights with you, and to future live concerts! In the meantime, you are hearing the Rondo from Beethoven's Violin Concerto, from a live concert performance.

"'Masterworks You've Never Heard' was the title of the violinist Stephanie Chase and the pianist Sara Davis Buechner's delightful recital...This impressive duo gave beautiful accounts of unfamiliar works...For any music lover with a sense of adventure, (their) program was a wonderful discovery." - Anthony Tommasini, The New York Times, January 13, 2017
“A supreme musical performer whose complete virtuosity enables her to ennoble everything she plays.”
